Do you remember that day?
Do you remember the conflicting news stories about planes in the air and then not in the air, where was the president, who was in charge in Washington, what was hit and what was still a target? Do you remember that over the following days the coverage moved from images of the soldering ruins of the twin buildings to recovery of dead American citizens?
Do you remember people lined up to give blood to strangers and an American president standing on smoldering ruins of the WTC with a bullhorn shouting “I can hear you!” The rest of the world hears you! And the people – and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon.”
Do you remember thinking that we would catch those who were actually behind those attacks?
People wanted answers and the “9/11 Commission Report” was supposedly issued to answer who was responsible, why it happened, and to ensure that it NEVER happened again. Yet before it was published, President George W. Bush decided that 28 pages of an earlier investigation, “The Joint Congressional Intelligence Inquiry Into 9/11″contained information that was “too sensitive” to be released to the public, and thus “28 pages” of that bi-partisan report were redacted. As such, the “9/11 Commission Report” that was finally released to the public is incomplete and falls short of fully explaining the events of 9/11. Mission NOT accomplished!
The Dougherty Report recently spoke with one of the congressional leaders who helped author the earlier report, former Senator Bob Graham, who has claimed that the redacted pages point to financial involvement by a foreign government. Special THANKS to Dan Christensen of the Florida Bulldog for his assistance in setting up the interview with Sen. Graham!
The Dougherty Report also spoke with Brian McGlinchey of 28pages.org who has been at the forefront demanding that the US government release those redacted pages.
